Inox and Flowpack

One of the most important materials used to produce machines is INOX. There are different types of INOX, like stainless steel, AISI 304, 430 and 316. We use the AISI 304 one and it guarantees major flexibility of our machines. This typology of steel has great chemical stability and it ensures that your products won’t get damaged or threatened by external agent or the environment. We can refer to this type of INOX with 18/10 or 18/08 based on the quantity of Nickel and Chromium in the alloy. However, we must be careful with some chemical substances like ammonia because it can ruin this material.

Why Inox 304

As everyone notices, it’s used for many things, such as chairs, tables and pots. These are the most common usage that we all can find in our houses. But how about machines? Our machines are built with INOX AISI to prevent the creation of mildew as well as bacteria, especially in the food industry with blue belt.

Aisi 403 and the European Union’s legislation

As mentioned above, every productor and manufacturer must pay attention during the packaging process, because there’s the possibility of the creation of mildew and bacteria which can influence the quality of your goods and consequently, also the safety of your customers. How can we manage this problem?

The European Union has issued laws and dispositions to clarify all the doubts about it, writing a particular guide about food and safety. For any questions, you can google this website report and visit it: https://ec.europa.eu/food/safety/chemical-safety/contaminants/catalogue/mycotoxins_en

The European Union is clear like day about this matter and it has established parameters that all companies must respect.

But going back to our experience, it’s really important to work in safe and clean environments. For example, if we have to pack pieces of cheese, it will be relevant to have INOX. There are different types of mildew on foods and some of them could be very dangerous for your clients because they create harmful micro-toxins for everyone. The clinical consequences are various, from renal problems to respiratory ones… They can sue your company and your reputation and image in the market will fall immediately because when an advisory is done by a customer, in Italy there’s also a warning to ASL – Azienda Sanitaria Locale (Local Health Firm: it’s like a health firm that manages with a different aspect of people health and firm) or to N.A.S. Carabinieri (Italian police which has the right to solve the problems with health and cleanliness)! Don’t worry! This problem can be solved: we can offer you machines in AISI 304 and you won’t get many of these complications!

Are there any risks of damage to our machines?

No! There’s no risk of damage. In fact, it’s suggested to use INOX also to prevent rust, in particular, if you work in humid environments. Another problem solved!
